(In-person) Mine The Block: Minecraft Hack-A-thon
In MineTheBlock: Imagine Africatown, youth are invited to continue the legacy of William Grose in imagining, designing, & building Africatown Seattle in Minecraft and learn about African Adinkra symbols. If you can't meet in-person, please go to williamgrose.org to register for the online program.

December 28th-31st (wed-sat), 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Day 1 (Dec 28) - “Marooned: Building Futures that Honor Our Pasts”
Participants will be initiated to their very own Adinkra Symbol Skyblock Islands.
Day 2 (Dec 29) - “Building Woforo Wealth Through Trade at William Grose Center”
Players will be introduced to the core trading center and community hub of our new server network and begin planning and implementing its development.
Day 3 (Dec 30) - “Adinkra Skyblock Islands Festival & Showcase”
Players will go on a virtual field trip to visit the Adinkra Skyblock Islands of their fellow players to learn from the African wisdom traditions inherited by their fellow leaders to see what they have built.
Day 4 (Dec 31) - “Woforo William Grose Leadership Cypher”
Interested participants will assemble & determine core protocol & strategy for continued governance & operations of their Woforo William Grose Minecraft server network for January 1st –December 31st, 2023. Following completion of the formal synchronous program, the new Woforo William Grose Minecraft server network will continue to operate as a virtual campus of the William Grose Center for Enterprise & Cultural Innovation.
