The goal of the Africatown Digital Storython is to synthesize digital technology training with media arts education and career path exposure for middle school and high school students. Participants will collaborate with media professionals to create educational content for delivery via digital channels. The summer program will give students hands-on production experience with Africatown Seattle and partners’ media platforms.
This is a fun opportunity to capture the stories of our everyday community members who make the Central District a thriving space for the City of Seattle residents & visitors.
All students who will be in 6th – 12th grade in Fall of this year are invited to apply. If you have any additional questions please email wgc@africatownlandtrust.org and we will assist you.
Upon completion of the three day program, all student participants will each be awarded a $100 giftcard.Â
